On Monday morning at 10:00 a.m., business leaders representing the entire value chain of an electrified transportation system will hold a press conference in Washington, D.C. to announce the formation of the Electrification Coalition and the release of its Electrification Roadmap, a sweeping report outlining a vision for the deployment of electric vehicles and infrastructure on a mass scale. Following the press conference, Coalition members—including Carlos Ghosn, President & CEO of Nissan Motor Company and Frederick W. Smith, Chairman, President & CEO of FedEx Corporation—will join top political leaders, including Senator Byron Dorgan (D-ND) and FERC Chairman Jon Wellinghoff, in a roundtable discussion moderated by New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman.
